St. John United Church of Christ

How To Connect!

As you prayerfully consider how you would like to support St. John United Church of Christ, we encourage you to review some of our suggestions on how to become an active disciple.

Grow Serve Connect

Connect:

St. John United Church of Christ offers small prayer groups to come together in a safe place to offer support for each other as we pray for concerns and needs and as a way to connect.

Group design:

Optimum group size is 8-10 – groups should not exceed 12

Similar geographical area is suggested

Church membership is not a requirement

Each group will need a contact person

Each group will need a host to coordinate accommodations in a home or the church house

You may rotate meetings among members’ homes or choose one that works best

Group establishes meeting days, locations and start/end times

Confidentiality, trust and respect are essential

Food is optional, but a great addition

Be creative, add other activities to your meetings, have fun
