On February 8, 2023, the Bellevue City Council passed an ordinance titled “City of Bellevue Smoke-Free Air Ordinance.” Bellevue is the second city in Campbell County, Kentucky to pass a comprehensive smoke-free ordinance covering all workplaces, including all restaurants and bars.
The ordinance prohibits all smoking including the use of e-cigarettes in places of employment and in other buildings open to the public. Private residences are not included in the ordinance unless they are used as a licensed childcare or healthcare facility.
